Actress Oge Okoye Lays Curse On Those Accusing Her Of Visiting SA Church For Pay

Nollywood actress Oge Okoye has asked God to give bitter pills to those accusing her of visiting the Alleluia Ministry International for pay.

Sealing this prayer with amen, the actress explained that she visited the controversial South African Pastor Alph Lukau’s Church to seek help for her aunty who is critical ill.

Oge made this known while reacting to the barrage of criticism she got from both celebrities and Nigerian citizens who went online to challenge the motive for such a move, while recalling that pastor Lukau who superintends the church had been in the news for the wrong reason after staging what was later described as “fake resurrection of the dead”. It was speculated that the “dead man” in a video released by the church, never died.

But speaking with Pulse Nigeria, Oge Okoye said that she visited the church because of her bedridden aunt based in the United States of America, adding that she decided to visit AMI so she could stand in for her aunt.

Her words, “I traveled to Spain to see my mum as usual and she told me how she came across the Youtube channel of AMI church and have been following them ever since because of what God is doing in the church..through Alpha Lukau. So my mum said she wanted to go there because of her younger sister (My aunt) in the United States who is a cancer patient, wheelchair bound and is bedridden…So due to Mum’s age, I didn’t want her making that long journey so I requested for my aunt’s pictures and promised her that I would visit the church so I can stand in for her as a point of contact,” she said.

She however frowned at reports making the rounds about her visit to the SA Church describing it as “false stories”, stressing her unreserved disappointment in the people spreading the gist.

“That was how I visited AMI on Sunday 14th of October 2018, Last year. Go on Youtube and see. So please is anything wrong in seeking the face of God or standing in the gap for my sick aunty? I really don’t understand people and how they fabricate stories. Meanwhile how much do Nigerians think I will be paid to do the unimaginable? Whoever said that…May God visit their home with the same bitter pill to swallow IJN. AMEN,” she concluded.

Earlier, a video had gone viral showing the movie star receiving a prophecy from Alpha Lukau.

OAP Daddy Freeze on Instagram announced what he called the “Oge challenge”. It was also alleged that the actress was paid to cooperate with every bit of the drama that happened in Alleluia Ministry International, where the South African pastor called the Igbo name of Oge’s daughter.

“I am speaking acceleration…somebody gat to help you because there are some people we gat to root out because they do not want you to become a media story, do you understand. I just don’t want media story. There are some people that we need to kick out then they will know that you came to see Alph Lukau” he said.
