DSS Reacts To Northern Quit Notice To Igbos, Warns Against Hate Speeches

The Department of State Security (DSS) has issued warning to all individuals or groups stirring up the polity with hate speeches.

The DSS in a statement by Tony Opuiyo said the secret police has been watching with keen interest the disturbing trend of desperate individuals spewing hatred in Nigeria.

Reacting to the recent quit notice issued by a Northern youth group against Igbos living in the North Opuiyo said the DSS will not tolerate any form of ultimatum from any region in Nigeria.

“Only recently, the Arewa Youths in a press statement called for the relocation of the Igbos from the North.

Unfortunately, this development has been followed by a release from an unknown source styled, Niger Delta Watchdogs, threatening all Northerners to quit Niger Delta region.
